My Target Audience Research

I made my survey on a website called survey monkey because it is free and easy to use. It is also easy to send out and people can answer it anonymously. I asked 10 people around the ago of who my magazine is aimed at. I asked them questions like what music genres they like, what they would like to see, how much they would pay, etc. these are the results:

Target Audience Mood Board

One of the first images I used on my target audience mood board was a picture of the twitter and face book logo. I used this because it showed the sort of websites and social networking sites that my target audience would go on.  I used the logos of apple, iTunes, kiss kube, and YouTube to show that my target audience would be interested in music and these would be the sites where they buy and download most of their music. I used a picture of a British flag to show that my magazine would be sold in Britain and the people reading it would most probably be British as well.  I also used a picture of the logo of McDonald’s and pizza hut to show where my target audience would like to eat.  I also included a picture of Katy Perry for an example of the sort of bands or artists they might listen to. There was an image of some women shopping to show that my target audience would mostly be female and would love to go shopping.  The show the sorts of shops they would shop at I included the logos of new look, and topshop. I also included makeup brands such as L’Oreal, rimmel, and max factor.
